Sacramento, CA

A two act Broadway-scale show that has become a Sacramento tradition.   Attendees eagerly anticipate the introduction of a new theme each year.  In addition to the music, story and theatrical aspects of the show itself, even the lobby decorations are designed to sweep the attendee away to the world represented in the musical production.  Historical significance, color schemes and architectural details are all combined to provide a coherent experience for the audience.  The planning and designing begins in January with a trip to the Las Vegas market for the purpose of selecting appropriate decor items to fit the current theme.  Casting auditions (vocals, dance and drama) take place in the summer, and rehearsals begin in late August.  By December, over 400 volunteers have joined together to present 11 performances to over 25,000 paying attendees.
